•GRAFFITI PARTY• An oversize foreign BIG WEDNESDAY poster with the title GRAFFITI PARTY. Well there's only one party in the film and while crashers and fights abound, there's no graffiti. This of course is reference to the GEORGE LUCAS blockbuster AMERICAN GRAFFITI.

Here's an interview selection from DARRELL FETTY who played WAXER in BIG WEDNESDAY. "We were all shocked that it wasn't as big as say AMERICAN GRAFITTI had been. A lot of people in the business and all the young actors I knew thought it'd be huge." Darrell goes on to say that BIG WEDNESDAY has, despite the poor initial box office, not only stood the test of time but remains beloved by fans all over the world.
